Burnout and Self-Care

This 3-hour Clinical Continuing Education event will review strategies to take proactive steps to overcome the unique challenges of burnout. Burnout occurs when passionate, committed people become deeply disillusioned with a job or career from which they previously derived much of their identity and meaning. It comes as the things that inspire passion and enthusiam are stripped away, and tedious or unpleasant things crowd in.

Participants will be provided tools to identify and differentiate between burnout and secondary trauma, identify prevention strategies, recognize ways to support colleagues and solutions for combatting burnout for the individual, staff and as a team.
